An interesting story here. The iris widely distributed for many years in the U.S. as 'Rheingauperle' was identified in 2021 as a French cultivar named 'Graziella'. When I obtained and planted my original stock, this iris was still recognized as 'Rheingauperle'. I will be labeling all rhizomes with the "correct" name of 'Graziella' as I ship them out. 'Graziella' is a large pallida-type, purpurine or light magenta red embellished at the throat and on the lower divisions by a large white spot illuminating the entire flower. SWEET FRAGRANCE
