This Arilbred iris is a cross between an Aril iris (I. stolonifera) and a Bearded iris (I. Mary Frances).

Aril irises are known to be difficult to grow in some climates due to their summer dormancy. However, this Arilbred iris will grow happily side-by-side with bearded irises.
